Two Bank Buildings in Lagos Gutted by Fire
One of the branches of Access Bank in Lagos, Nigeria was gutted by fire on Wednesday, August 26.
The Federal Fire Service confirmed the incident at 10.20 am local time. It said the affected branch of the bank is located at Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island area of the city.
Authorities say a fuel tanker presumably filled with diesel was at the premises of the bank to discharge its product when the fire broke out.

It was unclear what ignited the fire as at the time of filing this report.

The fire was said to have spread to the next building occupied by another bank.
Firefighters are said to be struggling to put out the inferno.
