The board of Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc has announced the appointment of Mr Chesa Okoroafor as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. His appointment follows the departure of the former CFO, Mrs Titilola Adigun, who resigned on November 2nd.
According to a press statement that was signed by the Company Secretary (Amaka Obiora) as seen by Business Elites Africa, Okoroafor’s appointment took effect on November 2nd.
Okoroafor has been with Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc since 2010 after he was employed as an internal auditor for Caverton Helicopters which is a subsidiary of the group. Since then, he has held numerous high-profile positions within the group, including Head of the Audit/Tax Department.
Prior to joining Caverton, he worked as the Deputy General Manager (Audit Services) at Associated Bus Company (ABC) Plc for four years; between 2006 and 2010. Between 2005 and 2006, he worked as a banker in a number of banks, including the Nigerian Bank of Commerce and Industry. He also worked with Nasco Group of Companies between 1991 and 1996.
Chesa Okoroafor is a graduate of graduate of the Federal Polytechnic in Idah where he earned a Higher National Diploma. He also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma from the Federal University of Technology in Bauchi, and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Imo State University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
