South African startup FinChatBot, which provides AI-powered chatbot services for the financial industry has rebranded to FCB.ai. According the co-founder and CEO of AI company, Antoine Paillusseau, this is to reflect the companies role beyond chatbots but also in the conversational AI ecosystem.

According to FCB.ai, this isn’t just a new look for the company. It’s an evolution of its identity to better reflect its direction, growth and provision of value for businesses across industries.

FinChatBot was founded in 2016 by Antoine Paillusseau and Romain Diaz to help financial services firms enhance their onsite conversion rate while also obtaining more information about their potential consumers. According to the firm, its products have become a primary communication and customer support channel for most South African financial service providers.
