Tiwa Savage, a female music sensation is one of Nigeria’s wealthiest female artists as she has performed in various worldwide events.

Savage also serves as a brand ambassador for a number of prestigious companies in Nigeria and abroad, most recently signing a contract with the Tecno smartphone company. This makes her the first female ambassador that the smartphone giant has signed.

The singer is not only successful because of her singing talent, but also because she has become embroiled in a series of high-profile scandals.

1. Her romance with Wizkid

Tiwa Savage seems to have a liking for the Baloguns. After leaving her former ex-husband who was a Balogun, Tiwa moved on to Wizkid, a music superstar whose real name is Ayo Balogun.

Their fans believed there was more to their friendship because of their intimacy, but Tiwa and Wizkid never cared about the rumour. 

However, Tiwa Savage ended up saying that they were only jointly producing music and performing for financial gain.

The two had always referred to themselves as besties. However, they were frequently seen together in intimate pictures and videos. Tiwa even played a vixen in Wizkid’s music video “Fever”.

Her role in Wizkid’s “Fever” video received harsh criticism from fans, because of how much skin she exposed. 

Without giving fans any explanation or reason, Tiwa and Wizkid stopped hanging out together.

2. Sextape

In an interview, Tiwa Savage initially alluded to the existence of a forthcoming sex tape to her audience. 

On October 19, 2021, it was posted online since she refused to pay the blackmailers. This is one controversy that has followed the musician for a while.

The videotape showed Tiwa Savage spending private time with her unidentified new partner.

The singer admitted that she was the person on the recording and she had no regrets.

Tiwa warned her fans to expect several attacks after the release of the tape and said she could already picture the memes that would come after.

3. Bum implants?

After a video of Tiwa Savage twerking on stage went viral recently. There have been conflicting reactions from her fans on Instagram. Her bum appeared to have gained some weight.

Many people who responded to the video noted that the famous singer might have undergone surgery to accentuate her backside.

While some of her fans praised, others alleged that the bum implants have been done since last year. However, some of her followers have disagreed.  

All in all, Tiwa Savage remains one of the top cash cows of Nigeria’s music industry.
