Adaeze’s support for new businesses
Adaeze Udensi is passionate about assisting growing businesses. Under her direction, the bank’s strategy and consistency have been known to go beyond maximising the potential of the retail market, SMEs, and corporate clients.
Since small businesses felt excluded and unheard and no one was paying attention to them, she realised there was a gap in the retail sector. According to her,
“Their pain resonated with us. We know that in the next ten to twenty years, these ones will be the big ones tomorrow but they are not getting enough attention.
“For instance, our number one question when we meet a client is – What is your pain point? and we work with them to administer a solution….and that is why we are taking that award- Best Trade Finance Provider in Nigeria, by Global Finance magazine, for the second time”.
Her coworkers have characterised her as an aggressive and goal-oriented marketer, particularly for banking and financial services.
She is also at the vanguard of efforts to double the bank’s net income so that it can scale up while concentrating on growth. This is consistent with her results-driven approach, which has produced a successful track record in corporate growth and turnaround management.
