World’s richest man, Bernard Arnault, Reshuffles Top Management, Hands Dior to His daughter

World’s richest man, Bernard Arnault has appointed his daughter as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Dior Couture. The co-founder and CEO of the French conglomerate LVMH also reshuffled several principals at the top echelon of his organization.

In a statement released by the company, Bernard replaced long-time Louis Vuitton CEO Michael Burke with Pietro Beccari. He explained that Michael Burke will take up new responsibilities, and directly report to Bernard, after spending years at Louis Vuitton.

The statement sighted by Business Elites Africa features Bernard’s comment on the reshuffle. 

Bernard’s comment on the management reshuffling

The World’s richest man noted that “Pietro Beccari did an exceptional job at Christian Dior.” He added that “his leadership accelerated the appeal and success of this iconic Maison. Bernard further expressed hopes that Pietro will lead “Louis Vuitton to the next level of success and desirability.” 

Appreciating the efforts of  Michael Burke, Bernard hinted that Burke did a “tremendous job developing this exceptional Maison, Louis Vuitton during the past ten years.”

Bernard noted that Burke “extended Louis Vuitton’s lead over competitors and promoted the heritage of Louis Vuitton while anchoring it in modernity.” He added that through Michael’s effort “The cultural strength of Louis Vuitton has been fully affirmed”. 

Speaking further, Bernard revealed that “Michael attracted the most outstanding designers and professional teams and helped them acculturate to the world of Vuitton.”He also added that with his help Tiffany was successfully integrated into the LVMH Group.

Proud of Michael’s brilliant strides in the organization, Bernard said, “I am delighted that Michael will continue, by my side, to share his experience and talent for the benefit of our companies.”

Billionaire Bernard Arnault also noted that the changes are effective from February 1, 2023.

According to Forbes’ real-time billionaire list, Bernard who has an estimated net worth of $190 billion tops the wealth of Tesla, Twitter, and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
