Nigerian multi-award-winning artist, David Adeleke, widely known by his stage name Davido, has an impressive income which stems from a combination of royalty earnings, brand partnerships, merchandise sales, and highly lucrative tour performances.
Davido who has earned the Africa’s beat ambassador title is billed to make over $20 million this year, according to Forbes.
The artist who graced the cover of the Forbes Under 30 Africa list is expected to make more money from lucrative deals with esteemed brands like Pernod Ricard’s Martell Cognac, smartphone manufacturer Infinix Mobile, and sports apparel giant Puma.
Also, his “Timeless” Album which surged to the second spot on Billboard’s World Album chart with a staggering 133 million streams will also contribute to pushing his income beyond the $20 million mark.
This prediction is in line with the anticipation of industry experts as Davido takes his latest album on a global promotional tour.

Davido who is the son of Adedeji Adeleke, Founder of Pacific Holdings Limited, was on Tuesday dragged by an American businesswoman, Anita Brown, for allegedly impregnating her.
In a video shared on Instagram, Anita showed herself taking a urine pregnancy test, revealing she had already taken a blood test earlier.
She also posted videos of her in what looked like backstage at Davido’s concert in 2018, claiming they have been “off and on up until the pandemic in which then I was in a long relationship.”
Anita further claimed to be unaware of Davido’s marriage to Choima and his bereavement. She said, “Rest in peace to the child, people knew about the baby, but nobody knew he got married. I am in America, nobody here knew is not on the blogs is not a big thing, and I am telling you I didn’t know.”
