How Don Jazzy, BurnaBoy, Wizkid, Ayra Starr Stormed Portugal

Nigerian Music Stars, Don Jazzy, BurnaBoy, Wizkid and Ayra Starr stormed Portugal for Afro Nation Portugal. The festival which started on the 28th of June, 2023 will end on the 30th of June, 2023. 

This festival which features artists from the genre of Afrobeats, hip-hop, R&B, dancehall, Amapian, and Afrohouse, among others is ongoing at Praia da Rocha in Portimão.

According to reports, BurnaBoy is one of a host of stars who has lighted Portugal in the ongoing formation Portugal 2023, as the audience was left marvelling at his Love Damini performance.

Also, Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy shared a short snippet of his arrival in Portugal while eating KFC wrote, “Na KFC wey I buy yesterday I Dey chop like this. As I never see better pepper chop for this #afronationportugal. Anybody wey get plug for this side hit me up Abeg.”

Wizkid also took to Instagram to share pictures and videos of his dancing steps during the after-party dance show.

Mavin youngster Ayra Starr also thrilled fans with some of her hit songs at the opening night of the Afro Nation festival. 

Describing the show as amazing, Ayra Starr wrote,  “Afronation Portugal was amazing, the sound messed me up a bit but not going to allow that stop me !!! See you tomorrow in Rotterdam, Netherlands!” 

She also shared videos and pictures from her stage performance, including one that featured her hugging Don Jazzy. 

The Afro Nation’s team brings some of the world’s greatest artists to festival-goers. Reports say the performances of Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Focalistic, Popcaan, Aya Nakamura, and many other talented artists demonstrated the immense talent and cultural influence that Africa and the diaspora have to offer.
