
Davido’s Timeless Tour: A Blend of Creativity and Passion
Nigerian Afrobeats Artist, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has taken North America by storm with his Timeless Tour. The tour which began in Washington D.C. on the 1st of July has seen Davido deliver top-notch performances as he blends creativity and passion together.
His recent Timeless stage performance in Houston was outstanding. One of the show’s major highlights was seeing Davido recreate the famous Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, and perform on his stage.
At the end of his performance in Houston, Mayor Sylvester Turner officially declared the 7th of July as World Davido Day.
Speaking after the show, Davido said, “Houston was a movie! Your energy is unmatched for real! 7.7 has been officially proclaimed Davido Day in H Town! Thank you to the Mayor and the people of Houston! Thank you for all the love! Chicago, see you tonight !!!! The Timeless tour continues!”
Davido’s Timeless Tour Moves From Houston to Boston
Davido told fans on his Instagram page, that he is taken his timeless tour to Boston. He wrote, “CHICAGO! You turned it up last night in a major way. Singing word for word I can’t thank you enough for the energy #TimelessTour. Boston you’re up next!!! Boston you’re up next!!!”
Timeless is Davido’s fourth studio album and his highest-charting project to date. It features Nigerian Afrobeats stars like Asake, Logos Olori, Skepta, Dexta Daps, and Morravey.
Describing the album, the ‘Timeless Crooner’ wrote “Timeless is a body of work that goes beyond fashion and trends. It’s an authentic body of work that remains true to my core as an artist, which is using my music to bring joy to my fans across the world. The songs you hear today will be just as relevant tomorrow. That’s why it’s timeless.”
