Bella Shmurda Advocates for Justice in the Wake of Mohbad’s Tragic Passing

Nigerian artiste Bella Shmurda has broken his silence following the tragic passing of his close friend and fellow artist, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad. 

Taking to his Twitter page, Bella expressed profound grief over Mohbad’s sudden and mysterious death.

In a series of tweets shared on Sunday, the singer revealed the lingering impact of Mohbad’s passing on him, stating that Mohbad’s spirit has been a constant presence in his thoughts since the unfortunate incident on Tuesday. 

He also expressed his concern about the maltreatment and malicious acts towards Mohbad, urging the Nigerian police to take action.

Bella Shmurda went on to detail that Mohbad had lodged numerous petitions against individuals who were harassing him. 

He blamed the Nigerian Police Force for their perceived nepotism and lackadaisical approach to addressing the matter. 

The artist referenced a specific petition dated 27th of June, 2023, in which Mohbad had accused music promoter Sam Larry and 15 others of threatening him and Zlatan Ibile during a video shoot.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer, FCID Annex, Lagos, Oluniyi Ogundeyi, disclosed that the police were unable to act on Mohbad’s petition due to his reluctance to come forward, adopt, defend, and provide evidence supporting the allegations.
