Nigeria’s EFCC Issues Warrant for Three: Two Sought for N330 Million Fraud, Another for Internet Scam 

Faith Onoja and Emmanuel Onoja, suspected to be siblings, have been declared by Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for allegedly dealing in an internet scam. 

Furthermore, the EFCC has issued a wanted notice for Rufus John Isip, who is sought in connection with internet fraud.

Wilson Uwujaren, the Head of Media and Publicity for the EFCC, revealed this information on Wednesday, stating that Faith, aged 55, and Emmanuel, aged 44, hail from the Ugelli South local government area of Delta State. Their declaration as wanted individuals stems from allegations of fraudulently acquiring a sum of N330,000,000.00 through deceitful means.

He mentioned that Faith’s most recent known whereabouts were in proximity to Celestial Church, Ekrovie New Layout, Old Egini Road, Orhuehorun, Delta State. Meanwhile, Emmanuel’s last known address was recorded as No 6 Jesmison Street, NPDC/ND, Western Estate, Warri, Delta State.

Uwujaren also highlighted that Rufus John Isip, aged 32, has been declared wanted for his involvement in the internet scam and several deceptive acquisitions of funds. The agency has issued a notice regarding Rufus John Isip, stating that he is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged involvement in Computer-Related Fraud and Obtaining Money under False Pretenses.

As per the commission’s statement, Rufus John Isip, aged 32, hails from Oruk Anam Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State. His last known address is Flat 4, Willems Court 6, Yesufu Abiodun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Additionally, the commission has reiterated its announcement about Rufus John Isip’s wanted status in connection to the aforementioned crimes.

Uwujaren said that individuals possessing valuable information regarding the three individuals should get in touch with the commission.
