David Adedeji Adeleke, Nigerian-American music sensation, famously recognized as Davido has welcomed the birth of twins with his spouse, Chioma Rowland, in the United States this past Tuesday.
Recall that the couple lost their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke sometime in October last year. The young boy reportedly drowns in his father’s Banana Island residence in Lagos. The arrival of their twins brings a glimmer of hope to the couple, who tragically lost their son.
Davido and Chioma have yet to announce the arrival of the twins on Social media, but several people in his network have confirmed the news.
On Tuesday, music executive Ovie confirmed the news in a post made through platform X. He wrote, “Confirmed. Davido and Chioma. Double blessings.”
In a separate report, it appears that Davido’s brother, Adewale Adeleke, may have corroborated the news of the singer’s twins. Adewale dropped a subtle hint by expressing his gratitude to God on social media.
In a post on platform X, he wrote: “We thank God.”
Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu also disclosed the news on Tuesday morning by posting his conversation with Davido on his church’s official Facebook page. Even though Davido and Chioma have not officially announced it, social media has been flooded with congratulatory messages.
Ahead of the arrival of the twins, Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu prophesied that both Davido and Chioma would give birth to twins sometime last year.
