Nigerian musician Olubankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W will join over 80 prominent speakers at the 2019 Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases (ACCES) holding in Accra,
Banky W will participate in the ACCES Conversations series where he will discuss his experiences in the Nigerian entertainment industry, his entrepreneurial drives and philanthropic activities.

ACCES Conversations has previously featured renowned music industry professionals such as Mr Eazi, Blinky Bill, Blick Bassy and former Fela Kuti manager Rikki Stein.
Also headlining the event in Accra, are other African musicians. From Ghana; Samini, Efya, Sarkodi and Elizabeth Ntimoah who is Boomplay’s Ghana Manager will be in attendance.
Also to grace the event are industry professionals such as Chocolate City Vice-President Aibee Abidoye from Nigeria, Simfy OTT Music Services Head, Pye Akideinde from Nigeria and Ditto Music Founder Lee Parsons from the United Kingdom, Managing Director of Airforce1 Records Joe Chialo from Germany, Broadcaster, DJ and curator Rita Ray from the UK, and Grammy-nominated musician, author and rights activist Mark Levine from the United States will be in attendance
ACCES is a leading Pan-African trade event for music players in Africa for ideas exchanges new talent discoveries and business connections.
The event which is slated for 28 to 30 November, will take place in Ghana for the first time at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, Alliance Française and The Goal Coast Hub.
The 2019 edition will host informative, networking, exhibition sessions There will also be panel discussions by African artists and those in the diaspora.
About Banky W
Olubankole Wellington was born in the year 1981 and shared residences between the United States and Nigeria. His music career blossomed after the release of his debut album, Back in the Building in 2005.
While studying at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York in 2002, he began his music career and co-founded the Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E.) record label. Then, in 2009, he moved over to Nigeria and signed Niyola, Wizkid, Skales and Shaydee.
His other albums include Mr Capable (2008), The W Experience (2009) and R&BW (2013.
