Apprise Music has signed an agreement making them the first distributor of Ghanaian music to partner with Boomplay, a media streaming and download service developed by Transsnet Music Limited. The agreement also means Apprise Music is the first music distributor in Ghana to acquire Boomplay’s catalogue, quickly establishing itself as the most popular streaming service in Africa with over 3 million users in Ghana alone.
Apprise Music represents over 1200 recording artistes with more than 20000 Albums and 100,000 tracks across 20+ genres. It also distributes content for some new artists in the Afropop, Dancehall and Highlife and many more.
