These are the Billionaires who own MTN Nigeria

MTN Nigeria went public on May 16, which has brought the  African telecommunications brand under the scrutiny of the investing public; which means that all its history, progress and activities will now be subject to the corporate governance and laws of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

The press will also play its role to monitor how transparent the public limited company will operate at every point of its institutional history.

Based on these, the list of the shareholders who now own billions in the second biggest company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, have now been made public:

Though MTN Nigeria is still controlled by the parent country – MTN Group, some influential Nigerians have great stakes in the Nigeria’s largest telecommunications company.

Although some of the shareholders might serve as fronts for the real owners as it is with most publicly traded companies, the above show the list of the owners of the telecommunication giant as it is on paper.
