10 Highest Scorers in Europe as Gyokeres Tops Mbappe

The European Golden Boot race has taken a surprising turn, and it’s Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres who finds himself ahead of some of the continent’s biggest stars.

With a stunning 39 goals this season, Gyokeres leads the rankings with 58.5 points, just edging out Kylian Mbappe, who sits on 58 points from 29 goals. 

While Mbappe plays in La Liga where each goal is worth more due to the competition’s higher coefficient Gyokeres has made up for it with sheer volume in Portugal’s Primeira Liga.

There’s still one game left for Real Madrid, giving Mbappe a final shot at reclaiming the top spot. But for now, the Swedish striker holds the edge.
