What Should a Healthy Vagina Be Like?

First, let’s talk about what a normal, healthy vagina is like. The vagina is a muscle-lined tube that makes a small amount of natural lubricant when stimulated. This natural lubricant helps during sexual activity and keeps the vagina clean by itself. It’s normal to have some vaginal discharge, and it changes with your menstrual cycle.

Knowing When There’s a Problem

While it’s common to have slight imbalances in the vaginal area, it’s important to know when something isn’t right.
