6 Countries Still Offering Nigerians Multiple-Entry Visas

In July 2025, the United States tightened its visa rules for Nigerians, cutting most non-immigrant visas to single-entry permits valid for just three months.

This change means every trip to the U.S. now requires a fresh application, with new fees and waiting times.

While American visas have become more restrictive, several other countries continue to grant Nigerians long-term, multiple-entry visas, making travel planning far easier for business people, tourists, and students alike.

Below are six destinations that still welcome Nigerians with visas allowing repeated entries over several years.

United Kingdom

Nigerians can apply for the UK’s Standard Visitor Visa, available in two-, five-, or ten-year versions. The five-year visa is the most popular, letting holders enter and exit the U.K. as often as they wish, provided no single stay exceeds six months. This flexibility suits frequent visitors who attend conferences, see family, or explore the U.K.’s cultural attractions.

Schengen Area

The 27-country Schengen Zone, including France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain, offers Nigerians a multiple-entry visa valid for up to five years. With this visa, you may stay anywhere in the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. It’s ideal for business trips, extended holidays, or once-in-a-lifetime European tours without applying each time.

South Africa

South Africa grants Nigerians who travel often, whether for work, study, or visiting relatives, a multiple-entry visa that can last up to five years. Applicants must demonstrate genuine need, such as regular business engagements or family connections. This long-term visa simplifies travel for those with ongoing ties to South Africa’s vibrant economy and communities.

India

India issues five-year multiple-entry visas for both business and tourism. To qualify, Nigerian applicants should show a solid travel history and clear reasons for repeated visits, such as supplier relationships, conferences, or cultural exchanges. With this visa, visitors can spend up to 180 days per visit, making it convenient for extended stays.

Kenya

While Kenya’s standard eVisa covers short trips of up to 90 days, businesspeople and frequent visitors can request a multiple-entry visa valid for up to five years. Applicants need to prove regular business activities or family ties in Kenya. This long-term option helps entrepreneurs and professionals cross borders without reapplying every few months.

United Arab Emirates

The UAE recently launched a five-year tourist visa that allows Nigerians to enter and exit as many times as they wish, with stays of up to 180 days each year. This visa is particularly attractive to travellers who visit the UAE for leisure, shopping, or connecting flights, removing the hassle of repeat visa applications.
