CDCFIB Shortlists Candidates, Sets CBT Dates for Paramilitary Recruitment
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the shortlist for its ongoing recruitment across four federal paramilitary agencies: the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
In a public notice signed by the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd.), applicants were directed to visit the official portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their application status and view details of their Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates are advised to carefully note the exam date, venue, and time displayed on their dashboard and to follow any additional instructions provided.
The Board warned applicants to beware of fraudsters and fake social media posts, stressing that all authentic information on the exercise will be published only on the CDCFIB website and official channels. No unofficial intermediaries are authorised to influence shortlisting or placement.
The recruitment covers entry roles across the four services, and shortlisted candidates must attend the CBT as scheduled to remain in contention. Further stages, documentation, physical screening, and medicals will be communicated after the test.
What to do now:
Visit recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, log in with your registered details, print or save your CBT slip, and plan to arrive at the test centre early with acceptable identification and required materials as stated on your portal page.
