Celebrities Who Have Publicly Declared Support for Annie So Far

Music icon 2Baba (formerly Tuface Idibia) has confirmed his separation from his wife, actress Annie Idibia. The couple, who had been together for over a decade and have two children, had been one of Nigeria’s most beloved power couples. 

Fans and the public were left reeling after 2Baba’s announcement, which initially came via a post on Instagram before being deleted. The musician later confirmed the split in a video, acknowledging that the announcement was genuine and not the result of any hacking. 

He then posted a video affirming that it was all true and his account wasn’t hacked. This news followed shortly after reports that Annie was allegedly undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation center due to the emotional toll of the separation. Toke Makinwa’s fiery support

Media personality Toke Makinwa was one of the first to openly express her outrage at 2Baba’s handling of the situation. In a series of passionate posts on social media, Makinwa condemned the musician for his actions, particularly in the wake of the public nature of the split.

BBNaija star Khloe also took to social media to voice her anger over the situation. In a brief yet fiery comment on Annie’s behalf, she expressed disbelief at the timing of the announcement. “This period? Like this time? This season? Oh hell no,” Khloe wrote.
