Cristiano Ronaldo recently shared insights into his family life, revealing how his competitive nature has influenced his five children. Known for his record-breaking football career, Ronaldo described how this competitive streak extends beyond the pitch into family activities, especially padel, a sport he often plays with his children.

Ronaldo discussed the impact of his personality on his kids during a conversation with former teammate Rio Ferdinand. He stated that even small family competitions are taken seriously, sometimes leading to days of silence between him and his eldest son, Cristiano Jr, after a game.

Despite his intense competitiveness, Ronaldo is mindful of the pressures his children face, particularly Cristiano Jr, who is following in his footsteps in football. The young Ronaldo, at just 14, is already involved in youth football setups in Saudi Arabia, where his father currently plays.

However, Cristiano Sr. emphasises the importance of allowing his son to make his own mistakes without undue pressure, despite the natural expectations placed on him due to his famous surname.
