Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price to N899.50 for Christmas
Dangote Refinery has lowered the price of petrol to N899.50 per liter, helping Nigerians save money as Christmas approaches. This news was shared by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer at Dangote Group, on Thursday.
Earlier, on November 24, the price had been reduced to N970 per liter. This further reduction is aimed at helping people with their travel costs during the busy holiday season.
Chiejina mentioned a special offer: for every liter of petrol bought with cash, customers can get another liter on credit if they have a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
He stated, “To help with travel costs this holiday season, we’ve cut our petrol price to N899.50 per liter starting today at our stations. Also, for every liter you buy with cash, you can get another liter on credit with a bank guarantee.”
The Dangote Refinery, the first privately-owned oil refinery in Africa, thanked its customers for their continuous support and commitment to providing high-quality, environmentally friendly petrol at competitive prices.
Chiejina also emphasised that the refinery is helping Nigeria stop relying on lower-quality imported petrol, which has been harmful to health, machines, and the environment.
