Fake Testimony: Pastor Paul Enenche Violated Human Rights or What?

Close as they make Nigerians believe they are to the heart of God, general overseers once a while make bad slips that reveal they are no angels.

So when Dunamis International  head honcho Paul Enenche blew up in the face of his member sharing what the Spirit told him sounded like a fake testimony, few Nigerians could understand.

Enenche came short of telling Anyim Vera to shut up her trap days ago. Reason: she spoke so bad English the MOG couldn’t believe she is what she said she is: a lawyer with a “BSc” in law.

Funnier still, her timing of graduation didn’t stack up.

But Enenche shouting her down during a live event provoked the internet warriors. They were going to drag the matter to the end of the earth with all its human rights violation consequences

Trust the spirit of a prophet. Enenche did a double take, and quickly self-correctedwith apologies and a photo op.

Nigeria’s Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act (VAPP) frowns at verbal and psychological abuse.

Section 12 punishes any convicted offender with one finger—or a fine of 200k. Or both. An attempt to commit the offense gets its own rap, too: half a year in jail —or N100,000 in fine. Or both.

God so good, the alleged abuse had a record and thousands of witnesses.

Now that it turns out Sister Vera actually graduated from the law dept at the National Open University (NOUN), Abuja, as the Punch confirmed, she is free to lawyer up. She might even get the service of some ambulance chasers, especially the gender-sensitive ones.

Don’t expect that, though.

Vera has forgiven her abuser and pastor.
