Google’s Gmail, Youtube, Map inaccessible Worldwide
Google‘s most used applications, Gmail, Youtube, Map and its Drive service are currently inaccessible in many parts of the world.
Global Internet users have taken to social media to lament the rare outage. Users from the US, UK, Africa, India and Nepal have confirmed the services are not accessible in their regions.
The error message below is displayed in an attempt to access the Youtube application.

Expectedly, Google is trending at number 1 on Twitter worldwide, and the tweets had garnered about 1.16 million within one hour.
No word from the tech giant at the time of filing this report. Although it is unclear if the outage is as a result of cyberattacks, tech experts suggest it is likely.

UPDATE:
Google services are now back online and working fine after hours of outage. Users in Africa, US and the UK have confirmed that the applications are functioning well in their respective region.
Google is yet to release official statement regarding the rare downtime.
