How I Overcame Drug Addiction – Korede Bello

Nigerian singer Korede Bello recently shared his wellness journey and how he overcame drug addiction on the “Say My Piece” podcast, hosted by actress Lolo.

Bello talked about his brief experimentation with marijuana and the self-awareness it sparked about his addictive tendencies.

Korede Bello also recounted how his father’s smoking habit impacted him from a young age, instilling a sense of the dangers associated with unhealthy habits and drug addiction.

“My dad used to smoke a lot… He used to send me to buy cigarettes, and each time, he warned me about the dangers of smoking,” Bello explained.

This early exposure contributed to his strong stance on personal health and his advocacy for a holistic approach, integrating physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Through his experiences, Bello aims to inspire others to embrace a lifestyle that prioritises comprehensive wellness, highlighting the significance of making informed personal choices to maintain health.
