How Much is Dollar to Naira Today in Nigeria?
Nigeria’s currency firmed slightly at the official window on Tuesday, while parallel-market levels held broadly steady as traders digested recent Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) moves.
At the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the dollar traded at approximately ₦1,457.06 per $1 as of the latest print today. This marks a mild appreciation from readings in the preceding hours, which hovered around ₦1,457–₦1,458 per dollar.
In the parallel (black) market, activity remained relatively stable. Buying rates were quoted around ₦1,450–₦1,460 per $1, while selling rates were around ₦1,470–₦1,480 per $1.
The near-parity between official and street rates suggests the CBN’s ongoing push to narrow the gap is still having an impact.
The official window remains the benchmark for regulated FX users, importers, exporters, and corporates with documented demand, while the parallel market continues to serve retail and over-the-counter needs.
