After all of the South African shenanigans, Chidinma Adestina is now competing in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, representing Taraba State.

Her participation in the competition has sparked conversation, especially after she was invited by the organizers to “represent her father’s native land.”

This move comes after Chidinma withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 competition due to a controversy over her citizenship status.

Despite the challenges, she has quickly gained popularity in Nigeria. With votes costing N200 each, Adetshina has already secured 14,949 votes, making her a strong contender in the competition.

Other contestants are also making significant strides. Contestant No. 10, Edeifo Aikhuele, has accumulated 7,982 votes, while Contestant No. 13, Queenth Igbokwe, has gathered 5,086 votes.

The ultimate winner of the Miss Universe Nigeria competition will walk away with ₦10 million in cash.

The Miss Universe Nigeria camp officially kicked off on Saturday, as 24 contestants arrived at the Festival Hotel in Festac, Lagos.

This was disclosed in a statement on the MUN website on Sunday

But the question on many minds is: Is Chidinma the most beautiful Miss Universe contestant in Nigeria?

In my opinion, she ranks among the top five, holding the No. 5 spot. However, the competition is fierce, and all the contestants are stunning in their own right.

For example, Miss Kwara stands out as a true African beauty, boldly challenging the notion that models need to be skinny.
