Is There Truth to the Allegations? RCCG Seeks Evidence Against Accused Pastors

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is encouraging anyone with evidence of sexual misconduct involving its pastors to come forward as part of an investigation process.

The church recently suspended two youth pastors while these allegations are being looked into. Sunday Akande, the RCCG’s national overseer, announced that the church has zero tolerance for homosexuality, aligning with their biblical interpretation. To assist with the investigations, RCCG has provided a contact email and a phone number where evidence can be submitted.

Ayorinde AdeBello’s Response to the Allegations

Ayorinde AdeBello, has publicly denied the allegations, stating that he has not engaged in any inappropriate activities and explaining that a WhatsApp message attributed to him was misunderstood and taken out of context.

He described the message as relating to male reproductive health and self-esteem in a teen-focused group chat.
