‘It Boosted My Brand’ – Laura Ikeji Reflects on 3 Years with Real Housewives of Lagos

Social media influencer, fashion entrepreneur, and reality TV personality Laura Ikeji has opened up about her emotional and transformative experience on The Real Housewives of Lagos (RHOLagos), offering fans a rare, heartfelt look behind the scenes of the popular show.

In an Instagram post shared with her over one million followers, Ikeji reflected on her three-year journey with the franchise, describing it as a mix of highs and lows that left a lasting impact.

“I’ve been a cast of this show for 3 years, and I have very mixed feelings about the show. Very sad and very beautiful memories. Sometimes I can’t wait to shoot, sometimes I hated shoot days,” she wrote.

“I do not ever regret taking this gig.”

Known for her outspoken personality and unapologetic style, Laura Ikeji-Kanu quickly became one of RHOLagos’ most talked-about cast members.

Her bold presence brought drama, vulnerability, and authenticity to the screen, making her a favorite among fans.

While the show provided its fair share of intense moments and public attention, Ikeji used the platform to grow her personal brand and strengthen her connection with her audience.

“Doing this show has helped me and my business. I’ve gained fans turned fams, and I’m grateful,” she said.

A Note of Gratitude

In her post, Ikeji thanked the production and network teams behind RHOLagos, expressing appreciation to Livespot360, Africa Magic, and her loyal supporters.

“Thanks @livespot360 for f*cking with me always. Thanks @africamagic. Thank you, Africa,” she wrote, while also acknowledging fans who stood by her through her “highest and lowest” points.

Though she didn’t confirm if she’s officially leaving the show, her closing words—“Till we see again”—hint at the possibility that her RHOLagos chapter may be ending, at least for now.

Whether it’s a goodbye or simply a break, one thing is clear: Laura Ikeji’s time on The Real Housewives of Lagos left a mark both on the screen and in the hearts of viewers.
