JAPA: UK Newly Approved These Companies for Sponsored Work Visas

The United Kingdom has added more companies to its list of approved businesses that can sponsor foreign workers. As of Friday, August 23, the list now has 119,195 companies from different industries like technology, business, education, media, and advertising.

This means there are new job opportunities for Nigerians and other people from outside the UK who want to work there.

To get a job in the UK, you need to get a job offer from one of these approved companies. These companies are allowed to help with your visa application. 

The UK government clarifies that only these approved employers can sponsor foreign workers. To get a Skilled Worker visa, you also need to meet some requirements.

The Skilled Worker visa covers several job types, including charity workers, skilled professionals, creative roles, global business mobility (for senior or specialist workers), and international sportspeople. You must have a job offer from an approved UK employer before applying for this visa.
