Meet Nigeria’s Young Billionaire: Alhaji KB Ciroman Haake

Alhaji KB Ciroman Haake, a billionaire businessman from Ganye in Adamawa State, is making waves in the business world while still under 30 years old. Known for his strides in the oil industry, Alhaji Haake is often seen travelling in his 2018 Gulfstream GIV SP jet, a symbol of his considerable success.

Alhaji Haake’s company, Etihad Oil Services Ltd acquired 51% of the oil blocks previously owned by Addax Petroleum in the Niger Delta. The company is also credited with discovering and drilling at the Kolmani Oilfield located in the Benue trough, spanning Gombe and Bauchi states. This oilfield is estimated to contain 1 billion barrels of crude oil and 500 billion cubic feet of gas.

The jet, registered under his company Empire Aviation Ltd in San Marino, bears the mark T7-ABH. Alhaji Haake owns two other jets and uses them to shuttle between his business locations in Kano and Kaduna states. His weekly routine includes flying to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia every Friday for Jumaat prayers, returning the next day.

The cost of acquiring his Gulfstream jet was between $6.3 million and $7.7 million, with annual operating costs ranging from $2.6 million to $3.2 million. Alhaji KB Ciroman Haake’s entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen continue to set him apart as one of Nigeria’s most dynamic young billionaires.
