Professor Chris Imafidon and his wife Ann head a British-Nigerian family celebrated for their remarkable academic records, with their children achieving numerous milestones across the United Kingdom.

The secret to the Imafidon family’s jaw-dropping intellect? It’s a mix of genetic predisposition, an unyielding commitment to education, and a nurturing environment that values and pushes for intellectual achievements. 

Professor Chris Imafidon

At the head of this remarkable family is Professor Chris Imafidon,  renowned for his groundbreaking research and numerous accolades, who has held teaching positions at top global universities and consulted for various governments. 

His contributions to academia are vast, having mentored and taught at some of the world’s leading universities. 

He has delivered guest lectures at the University of Oxford, served as a visiting professor at several prestigious American universities, and collaborated with scientists at Yale University.

Professor Imafidon remains actively involved in mentoring, supervising, and assessing students at Imperial College London, Cambridge University, University College London, and Queen Mary University of London. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise to the Board of Governors at Woodford County High School and the Excellence in Education program.

Anne-Marie Imafidon

She wasn’t just playing in the playground like most kids her age, she was acing GCSEs in primary school and snagging an A-level in computing by the time she was 11. Fast forward a few years, and she completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Oxford University at 17. 

Fast forward a bit more, and she’s leading the British Science Association and inspiring thousands of young women through her organization, Stemettes. 

Anne-Marie’s life is not just a tale of personal success but a beacon for potential STEM enthusiasts.

Christiana Imafidon 

Then there’s Christiana Imafidon, who was not only recognized for her mathematical talents by the age of nine but also authored a ‘Maths Manual’ by eleven to help peers overcome their number-phobia. 

At just nine years old, Christiana Imafidon was recognized by the Minister of State for E-commerce as one of the youngest girls to receive a mathematics award. Demonstrating her passion for sharing knowledge, she authored a ‘Maths Manual’ to help her friends excel in mathematics. 

By the age of 11, she had become the youngest student to enroll in a British university, earning multiple government and top-tier academic scholarships.

Today, Christiana is an esteemed international speaker and has been honored as ‘The Most Influential Woman in Financial Technology.’

Samantha Imafidon 

Samantha Imafidon, another family star, took high school exams in mathematics and statistics at six and was sprinting past her peers, both literally in athletics and metaphorically in her education and career. 

Samantha Imafidon excelled in two high school-level exams in mathematics and statistics at the age of six. By nine, she was the youngest secondary school student in the UK and had also earned gold medals in the 100m and 200m relays.

Previously, Samantha worked at Microsoft as a cloud architect and financial account manager. She is currently employed at Deloitte.

Peter and Paula Imafidon

Not to be outdone, the youngest of the siblings, twins Peter and Paula Imafidon, were passing advanced mathematics exams by eight and attending high school by twelve. 

Peter and Paula Imafidon shattered global records by passing A/AS-level math exams at only eight years old. 

They continued their exceptional academic streak by completing the University of Cambridge’s FAM exams at nine. By the age of 12, they were the youngest children to enter high school in the UK. 

Now, at 14, the “Wonder Twins” aren’t just academically inclined; they’re also talented in music and sports, demonstrating that their genius does not confine itself to just textbooks.
