Mourinho Becomes Fenerbahçe’s New Coach After Signing 2-Year Deal
José Mourinho, 61, is the new Fenerbahçe head coach after agreeing a two-year deal on Friday, May 31, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on X.
“José Mourinho has just signed the contract as new Fenerbahçe head coach, here we go!”, Romano wrote.
The Special One, as he’s fondly called, will replace Ismail Kartal at the Turkish club. It’s Mourinho’s 11th managerial role.
In January, Italian football club, Roma sacked Mourinho after two and half years of managing the Rome-based team.
