Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Tiwa Savage, and Others Honoured at 2025 Forbes Women Africa Awards

The 10th Forbes Women Africa Awards took place during the Forbes Women Africa Leading Women Summit in South Africa.

 The event celebrated inspiring women who are making a difference in different industries. Among those recognised were Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Tiwa Savage, Nissi Ogulu, and Hephzibah Akinwale.

Key Award Winners

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tiwa Savage received the Media Icon Award.

Nissi Ogulu was given the Youth Icon Award.

Hephzibah Akinwale won the Next Generation Award.

Eniola Shokunbi was recognized as the Young Achiever Award winner.

Theme and Purpose of the Event

The event had the theme “To The Power of 10: The Rule-Breakers In Africa’s Next Chapter.” The awards recognised women who are breaking barriers and making a big impact in their fields.
