Onyeka Onwenu’s Harrowing 2 Hours Battle for Survival

The iconic singer Onyeka Onwenu tragically passed away at the age of 72, following an incident where she collapsed shortly after performing at a high-profile birthday event.

Despite the immediate and intensive efforts of medical professionals at Reddington Hospital in Lagos, Onwenu could not be revived.

Peter Obi, a prominent figure at the event, detailed the tense moments at the hospital where doctors worked tirelessly to save Onwenu. According to Obi, after Onwenu’s collapse, she was quickly transported to the hospital.

There, a team of doctors and medical staff fought valiantly to stabilise her condition, performing numerous emergency procedures in an attempt to bring her back.

Unfortunately, after more than two hours of intense medical intervention, the doctors emerged with the heartbreaking news of her passing.
