Petition to Recall Senator Natasha Inadequate – INEC
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the petition to recall Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, did not meet the constitutional requirements.
INEC shared this information through a post on its official X page on Thursday, stating that the recall petition failed to comply with Section 69(a) of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended).
“The petition for the recall of the Senator representing the Kogi Central Senatorial District has not met the requirement of Section 69(a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended),” INEC stated in the post.
