President Tinubu Sacks 5 Cabinet Ministers
President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers from his cabinet, according to a statement released by his special adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on Wednesday. The statement did not specify the reasons for the dismissals but indicated a reshuffle within the administration.
The ministers who were relieved of their duties include Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Prof. Tahir Mamman (SAN, OON), Minister of Education; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
This move comes amid other major changes in the administration, including the recent scrapping of the Niger Delta and sports ministries, as President Tinubu continues to make strategic adjustments to his government team.
