President Tinubu Swears in 7 New Ministers at Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in seven new ministers in a ceremony held at the council chamber of Aso Rock Villa this Monday. The ministers were sworn into office in two groups; the first batch included four ministers and the second batch three, following the reading of their citations by Abiodun Oladunjoye, the State House Director of Information.

These appointments come as part of President Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to enhance his administration’s capabilities across various sectors. The ministers are expected to immediately assume their duties and start contributing to the administration’s objectives in their designated roles.

The portfolios of the newly appointed ministers are as follows:

  • Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda: Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
  • Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi: Minister of Labour & Employment
  • Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
  • Dr. Jumoke Oduwole: Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment
  • Idi Mukhtar Maiha: Minister of Livestock Development
  • Yusuf Abdullahi Ata: Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development
  • Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad: Minister of State for Education
