Tinubu Nominates Oludare as NDIC Boss-Will the Senate Approve?

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally submitted nominations to the Nigerian Senate for the appointment of Thompson Oludare Sunday as Managing Director and Kabir Sabo Kataka as Executive Director of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).

The President’s request was presented during the Senate plenary on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Following the reading of the letter, the Senate President referred the nominations to the Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions for further consideration and subsequent reporting.
