Artificial intelligence (AI) is a hot area for investment, and in 2024, companies working on AI received a lot of money to grow and innovate. A report from WriterBuddy shows that the top 50 AI companies raised $52.8 billion this year.
This is a big increase from previous years, showing that investors are really interested in AI technology. These companies are now valued at $358.37 billion together. Most of the money went to AI Infrastructure and Models, followed by Data and Analytics, and Defense and Security.
Most of this investment went to companies in the United States, especially in California, which got $49.4 billion. France was also notable, with its AI startups raising $1.3 billion.
