Top Goal Scorers at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

As the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup continues in the United States, experienced Argentine winger Ángel Di María has moved to the top of the scoring chart by scoring three goals for Benfica. At 37 years old, he opened his account with a goal in an exciting 2-2 draw against Argentina’s Boca Juniors in the group stage.

He then added two more in Benfica’s 6-0 win over the New Zealand side Auckland City. Although he did not score in Benfica’s final group game, a narrow 1-0 victory over German champions Bayern Munich that sent them into the Round of 16, no other player has matched his three-goal total.

Benfica now prepare to face Chelsea in Saturday’s knockout match, where Di María will look to extend his lead and help his side advance further. He currently shares first place in the top scorers list with:

  • Ángel Di María (Benfica)
  • Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich)
  • Michael Olise (Crystal Palace)
  • Wessam Abou Ali (AaB)
  • Kenan Yildiz (Juventus)

Not far behind, five players have found the net twice so far:

  • Samu Aghehowa (Enyimba)
  • Leandro Barreiro (Mainz)
  • Pablo Barrios (Atlético Madrid)
  • Germán Berterame (Monterrey)
  • Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich)

With the knockout rounds now underway, each of these players will be eager to add to their goal tallies as their clubs vie for global supremacy and the chance to lift the 2025 Club World Cup trophy.
