U.S.-Iran war: Areas Israel, the US and Iran have Struck Across the Middle East

The war involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has spread across several parts of the Middle East. Fresh strikes have been reported in Iran, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, and Cyprus.

This has raised fears of a wider regional crisis and greater disruption to the global economy, especially in oil and gas markets.

Tehran remains at the centre of the conflict

Tehran has remained one of the main targets in the conflict. Israel said it struck important leadership and security locations in the Iranian capital, including areas linked to senior political and military officials.

The latest attacks have placed strong pressure on Iran’s state institutions, military sites, and leadership centres. The situation has become even more serious because of growing uncertainty over Iran’s leadership, following reports about the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Conflict expands into Lebanon

The war has also intensified in Lebanon. Israel has increased strikes on areas linked to Hezbollah in and around Beirut.

Heavy smoke was seen rising over the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital after fresh airstrikes. Israel said it was targeting Hezbollah positions to prevent attacks on communities near its northern border.

These developments show that Lebanon is once again becoming a major front in the conflict, not just a side theatre.

Gulf states and US facilities face growing threats

The impact of the conflict is no longer limited to Iran and Israel. The crisis has spread across the Gulf, where embassies, military sites, and strategic facilities have come under growing threat.

US diplomatic and military positions in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Iraq have faced increased danger. Governments in the region have also been forced to respond quickly as the conflict widens.

This suggests that the cost of the war is now being spread across a much larger area, far beyond direct strikes inside Iran.

Cyprus also feels the impact

The conflict has also reached the eastern Mediterranean. Reports from Cyprus said drones targeted RAF Akrotiri, one of Britain’s most important military bases in the region.

Although the reported damage was limited, the incident showed that the security risks created by this war are no longer confined to the main battle zones. Important military locations far from Iran and Israel are now also exposed.
