“We Need to Party,” Says Bobrisky After Serving Six-Month Jail Term for Naira Abuse

Popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has been released from prison. This follows his conviction by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on April 5 for mutilating naira notes.

Bobrisky faced charges from the EFCC on four counts related to naira abuse. He pleaded guilty to these charges before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

Bobrisky was released on Monday, August 5, 2024. Videos circulating on social media show him celebrating with friends, enjoying the song “Egwu” by Mohbad and Chike. His friends were heard saying, “We are out of prison. Congratulations Bobrisky.”

Netizens React to Bobrisky’s Release

Word War 3 is on its way The crypto and stock market is crashing etc You’re running out of time to get rich and plan escape routes If war breaks in your country, do you even have enough to provide food for yourself or to transport yourself to safety. ??
