Before his tragic decision to end his life by jumping off a balcony, Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, carried out some deeply personal actions in his Lekki home. 

Nick first made a significant call to his brother in the United States. During this conversation, he detailed how he wanted his assets distributed, indicating he had contemplated his decision for some time. 

He then reached out to his daughter, who lives with her mother following Nick’s earlier separation. In a heartfelt message, he assured her of his everlasting presence, comforting her by saying she could always find him in the stars whenever she looked up at the night sky.

Nick Imudia held the position of CEO at D.light until his passing, a company recognized for its innovative approach to distributing and financing residential solar energy solutions alongside transformational household products. 

Originating from Ika South local government area in Delta State, Nick experienced both highs and lows in his personal life.

He was initially married to the mother of his daughter, also from the same region, but the marriage ended in divorce due to irreconcilable differences. Later, Nick remarried, finding happiness with a woman of Caucasian descent.

Professionally, Nick’s impressive career included several key leadership roles. He served as the Regional Director at TCL/Alcatel and as the General Manager/Managing Director for West and Central Africa at Microsoft Device and Services.

His extensive experience and leadership also extended to his time as CEO at Konga, significantly shaping his legacy in the technology and e-commerce sectors.
