Celebrating his birthday on the same day as Davido’s wedding, Lati’s story with Davido goes back over two decades, starting when a young Davido was just ten years old and had recently faced the immense loss of his parents.

Lati’s role in Davido’s life extends far beyond the typical duties of a personal assistant. As an A&R personnel within Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), Lati’s influence permeates various aspects of Davido’s music career. 

He organizes tours, manages schedules, and controls access to the superstar, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. 

His dedication and hard work were publicly acknowledged by Davido in 2019 when he gifted Lati a multimillion naira Benz.

Contrary to some rumors and speculations on social media, Lati is not Davido’s bouncer but his confidant and right-hand man. Their bond started in the early days of their youth from their days at Babcock University to the global stages.
