Who is Ibifubara BBNaija? The Psychologist Everyone is Talking About

In the Big Brother Naija Season 10, one housemate is steadily capturing attention, not by shouting the loudest or starting fights, but by bringing brains, beauty, and emotional depth to the game.

Meet Ibifubara Davies, the 28-year-old psychologist who is slowly becoming one of the most talked-about contestants this season.

How she started out

Ibifubara didn’t walk into the BBNaija house for clout. For her, it was a full-circle moment, inspired by watching Ebuka rise from contestant to iconic host.

That moment sparked a desire in her: to experience the platform, the exposure, and maybe, make her own mark. And now, she’s doing just that.

Born in Kalabari, Rivers State, and now based in Lagos, Ibifubara comes into the game with a strong academic and professional background. A graduate of Covenant University with a degree in Psychology, she has spent the last few years immersed in mental health advocacy, both online and offline.

Don’t let her soft voice fool you. Ibifubara is a self-proclaimed “smart babe,” a leader, and a ringleader of vibes. Her confidence is grounded in something deeper than just looks.

When asked why she’s a 10, she answered simply: “Because I’m beautiful inside and out.” And it shows, in how she carries herself, connects with housemates, and engages with the game.

Before BBNaija, she wasn’t just a therapist. She also wore several hats in the tech and corporate world — working as a UX researcher, a product manager, and a research analyst. Her professional life has seen her move from mental health consulting to building tech-driven solutions, a rare blend of compassion and innovation.

Her mission in the house

Ibifubara came into the Big Brother house with a clear intention: to win, of course, but also to spread positivity and fun. “In Big Brother’s house,” she said, “you’ll never catch me having a dull moment. I’m always where the fun is at.”

But don’t mistake fun for unseriousness. She runs Stream, a mental health practice offering therapy and emotional support, especially to young Nigerians. Formerly known as Nuguhealth on Instagram, the platform focuses on helping people heal, grow, and thrive.

Her private life and public spotlight

Although she’s now under the watchful eye of millions, Ibifubara has kept much of her personal life private.

Her Instagram is locked, her dating life is drama-free, and she’s made it clear she’s currently single, not heartbroken, just focused. “It just didn’t work out,” she said about her past relationship. “I’m building myself right now.”

She’s also active on YouTube, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter), sharing content around mental health, lifestyle, and her personal growth journey. While her social following is still growing, her presence in the BBNaija house is helping boost her reach and her voice.
