Who is Mide, the Fearless Entrepreneur in the Big Brother Naija House?

As Big Brother Naija Season 10 kicks into full gear, another housemate already standing out, not just for her confidence and charisma, but for her clear ambition and entrepreneurial drive is Mide.

Her name is Ayomide Iwasokun, but viewers across Nigeria are quickly getting to know her simply as Mide. At just 23, she’s showing the nation that she’s not in Biggie’s house just to play games, she’s there to make a statement.

Mide’s Ondo roots to Lagos hustle

Born in Ondo State and raised in Lagos, Mide has always been close to the hustle. Her upbringing was shaped by a strong, entrepreneurial mother who runs a popular food shop in Ikeja’s Computer Village. 

That spirit clearly rubbed off on her. Mide pursued her education at The Apostolic Church Schools in Ketu and later earned her degree from the University of Benin, a milestone she proudly calls one of her biggest achievements.

How she started out

Before BBNaija came calling, Mide had already carved out a space for herself as a mixologist and budding entrepreneur in Lagos. Describing herself as a “party girl with purpose,” she blends her love for nightlife with a serious business mindset. 

But she’s not stopping there, Mide sees the Big Brother platform as a launchpad into entertainment. She’s openly expressed her passion for acting and music and hopes this experience opens the right doors.

Mide didn’t walk into the BBNaija house quietly. She was among the first batch of housemates introduced in this milestone 10th season, and she came ready.
