Wizkid Calls Davido “Talentless” as Feud Heats Up Again

Afrobeats star Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has once again looked at fellow musician Davido, calling him “talentless” in a recent post.

The comment came after Davido teased his upcoming single with YG Marley.

Wizkid, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), appeared to mock Davido’s new song, writing, “P***y boys dropping mid again… Una don tire! Make una go rest small!”

This quickly sparked reactions from fans. One fan, Andrew McKnight (@CULTURALVOICE), accused Wizkid of creating drama to sell his music, asking, “So if you no beef @davido your song won’t sell?” Wizkid fired back, saying, “I don’t beef wack niggas! We all know he’s wack! No talent!”

As of now, Davido has not responded to Wizkid’s comments, but the two artists have a long-standing rivalry that dates back to 2014. They’ve often traded insults online and in interviews.

In May 2024, their feud escalated when Wizkid made fun of both Davido and music producer Don Jazzy.

Wizkid called Don Jazzy an “influencer” and shared a video of Davido looking emotional. In response, Davido called Wizkid’s career “dead.”

This isn’t the first time they’ve clashed. Earlier in 2024, Davido appeared to take a swipe at Wizkid’s music style after being featured on Kizz Daniel’s song Twe Twe, hinting that Wizkid’s music lacks impact.

However, there have been moments when the two have shown respect for each other. In March 2023, Wizkid promoted Davido’s album Timeless, leading fans to believe the beef might be over.

Wizkid also delayed the release of his own album More Love, Less Ego in November 2022 as a sign of respect after the tragic death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.

Despite their clashes, Wizkid and Davido have sometimes hinted at working together. In January 2023, Wizkid announced plans for a joint tour with Davido, exciting fans who hoped for a reconciliation.

Over the years, their feud has been fueled by their fan bases, with both sides often escalating tensions between the two stars.

While they’ve shared the stage and exchanged compliments in the past, it’s unclear whether they will ever fully resolve their differences. Fans are now waiting to see if Davido will respond to Wizkid’s latest comments.
