Kylian Mbappe is one of football’s brightest stars, known for his incredible speed, technical ability, and goal-scoring prowess. He began his professional career with AS Monaco, where he quickly made a name for himself by helping the team win the Ligue 1 title in the 2016-17 season. 

His performances caught the attention of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), who signed him in 2017 for a record-breaking transfer fee. At PSG, Mbappe continued to shine, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer and winning multiple domestic titles. 

In 2023, he made a high-profile move to Real Madrid, where he is expected to continue his rise as one of the top players in world football. 

Despite his young age, Mbappe has already won a FIFA World Cup with France in 2018 and is considered one of the most talented and marketable players in the game today.

These are the clubs Mbappe has never scored against

1. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)

 Surprisingly, PSG, the club where Mbappe became the all-time top scorer, is one of the teams he has never scored against. Before his transfer to PSG, he played against them four times during his days at Monaco but failed to score in any of those matches. Now playing for Real Madrid, Mbappe may have the opportunity to break his goal drought against his former team.

2. CSKA Moscow

 He faced CSKA Moscow twice during the 2016-17 season, but despite his efforts, he couldn’t find the net. To be fair, he only played a combined 12 minutes across both matches, making it difficult for him to make an impact.

3. Napoli

 In the 2018-19 Champions League group stage, Mbappe played two matches against Napoli while at PSG. Despite his best efforts, he couldn’t score against the Italian side, although he did manage to provide an assist in one of the fixtures.

4. Atalanta

 Another Italian team that Mbappe has failed to score against is Atalanta. The French forward faced them during the 2019-20 Champions League quarter-finals. Although he was recovering from an ankle injury and only played the final 30 minutes, Mbappe did assist a last-minute winner but couldn’t get on the scoresheet himself.

5. Tottenham Hotspur

 Mbappe has also faced Tottenham Hotspur, the only English club on this list, without scoring. He played against Spurs in a Europa League match during the 2015-16 season with Monaco, but his team lost 4-1, and Mbappe couldn’t make his mark on the game.

6. Les Herbiers VF

 Les Herbiers, a fourth-tier French team, faced Mbappe and PSG in the 2018 Coupe de France final. While PSG secured a routine victory with goals from Giovani Lo Celso and Edinson Cavani, Mbappe wasn’t able to add his name to the scoresheet against this lower-league side.

7. Bayer Leverkusen

 Mbappe’s sole appearance against Bayer Leverkusen came in a 2016-17 Champions League group stage match. Despite only playing 13 minutes, Leverkusen remains a team against which Mbappe has yet to score.

8. FC Sochaux

In the 2017-18 season, Mbappe played a full 90 minutes against FC Sochaux during a Coupe de France tie. Despite PSG’s 4-1 victory, which was largely thanks to Angel Di Maria’s hat trick, Mbappe failed to find the net.

9. FC Villefranche Beaujolais

Another fourth-tier French club, Villefranche Beaujolais, faced PSG and Mbappe in the 2018-19 Coupe de France. While the French superstar didn’t score, he did provide two assists during extra time to help his team secure a 3-0 win.

10. Thonon Evian Grand Geneve

Mbappe played against Thonon Evian Grand Geneve, a team currently in the fifth tier of French football, during his time at Monaco. Despite being on the pitch for 83 minutes in a Coupe de France match, he couldn’t find the back of the net.
