Tinubu’s Votes were Fraudulently Allocated by INEC – Kwankwaso

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) led by Prof Mahmood Yakubu of fraudulently allocating votes to Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

In an interview with BBC Hausa Service, Kwankwaso pointed out that Nigerians no longer liked the APC and that the votes allocated to Tinubu during the just-concluded presidential election were fraudulently allocated.

The electoral umpire declared Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State the winner of the presidential election after polling a total of 8,794,726 total votes to defeat his closest contender, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled a total of 6,984,520 votes.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) polled a total of 6,101,533 votes to secure the third position while Kwankwaso polled a total of 1,496,687 votes in the presidential election to secure the fourth position.

According to Kwankwaso, the NNPP has a bright future because big politicians are seriously indicating interest in the party, and are willing to make necessary contributions to move the party forward.

He also mentioned that his political oppositions are in serious crisis unlike his party that has begun to get recognition from influential personalities.

According to Kwankwaso, “Take a look at our rivals, particularly the PDP. They are in a serious crisis, particularly as it concerns its leaders. In Kano State, some thought PDP will be of help to them, or game changer, but they were disappointed woefully, same with the APC.

“All these votes you see INEC mentioned were fraudulently allocated to its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu. The truth is that Nigerians don’t like APC anymore, hence our party is the one that has the future,” he added.
